Sometimes, life can just feel exhausting! We may feel pressure from work, conflict in our relationships, the internal pressure to be someone we’re not, or feelings of discontentment, confusion, loss, overwhelm, insecurity, or anxiety. At times, we know exactly what we need to do to respond and to cope. And at other times, we may feel totally overwhelmed and struggle to make sense of how to navigate what we’re feeling and experiencing. It’s not uncommon to avoid what we’re feeling in hopes that it will all eventually just go away, but often that suffering can continue to build the more we ignore it.
Individual counseling can help with understanding what you’re feeling, gaining insight, and building on coping skills. When we engage in this process, we can become better equipped to navigate the feelings now and in the future. As part of our therapeutic work, we may process together:
- Relationship issues
- Low self-esteem or self-worth
- Feelings of shame
- Anxiety or Depression
- Grief and loss
- Overwhelm or burnout
- Perfectionism or harsh self-expectations
- Life transitions
- Boundary-setting in relationships
- Finding meaning and purpose
- Value identification and identity development
- Coping skills and self-care
I provide a warm, caring, non-judgmental space to explore your concerns, with the hope of lessening the heaviness of carrying them alone
